Sister Leo, as she's known, is a feisty octogenarian activist inspired by her hero, Catholic Worker Movement founder Dorothy Day. She's mounting a spirited resistance to the impending closure and trying to rally her fellow residents, primarily low-income seniors who receive Medicaid reimbursements for their housing costs.
