Muriel Claire Heide

Muriel was 56 years old when she came back (from Peru).  Vatican II had dispersed with all but "strict cloister" and life for nuns had changed radically in the US. (   ) She wanted...to work with less fortunate people and to use her Spanish.  Eventually she and Sister Carol Putnam came to the South End (of Boston) where a group of nuns began teaching classes to Hispanic women in a house on Pembroke Street.
