In (my) wonderful 20 years (at the Barnyard run by Coconut Groves Cares) a great deal was done for the children, the staff worked so hard to figure out how to help the children to get their homework done. Some of those young people on the Staff had been to the Barnyard when they were young. And then, slowly our fundraising began to make it possible to pay our bills, and the University of Miami offered their Frost School of Music who sent their music students to teach the children who were capable and wanted to learn to play several different instruments--and they gave them the instrument they learned to play. And so more examples could be added to this story of what we do at the Barnyard.
