Relationship to the Society:
Ministry/several RSCJ

In the Fall of 1982,   Rosemary Roney, Kathleen Cox, Sharon Collins, Diane Roche, Joan Ewing, and Grace Butler began teaching at Holy Redeemer School; Jo McFayden came for her three month ministry as a Novice; Grace Butler was the Principal and  Regina Griffin was Director of Religious Education for the parish.  This ministry was within walking distance of Sursum Corda.  Clare Pratt was the Provincial at the time and, when the Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament left, it seemed like a perfect fit.  The RSCJ stayed for five years until the Sisters of the Holy Family assumed responsibility for the school in 2007.  From 2007 until 2010  Holy Redeemer School continued to educate children through a partnership with the University of Notre Dame through certification as a Magnificat school.
