Kathleen Hughes

After obtaining a PhD in Liturgical Studies at the University of Notre Dame, Kathleen served on the faculty of the Catholic Theological Union and concurrently served on the Advisory Committee of the International Commission on English in the Liturgy. Both positions provided the possibility of challenging the status quo of the ways we addressed God and one another in prayer, of who belongs in sacred space, of where the Spirit chooses to be revealed in teaching and preaching, and of how women’s presence changes a culture.
